While your loved one is still at home, Home Phases focuses on the downsizing process. We create practical, functional, and easy-to-maintain organization systems throughout the home.

When it’s time for your loved one to move—whether to a smaller home, assisted living, or a relative’s care—it can be emotional and complex. Our process simplifies the tasks involved in prepping the home.

PLAN 3: AFTER A  LOSS

The loss of a loved one brings many tasks and logistical challenges. It is a deeply difficult time and can feel overwhelming. We’re here to ease the burden with a streamlined method to take care of the home.

• Donate, recycle, or dispose of unwanted items
• Provide itemized donation receipts 
• Sort and label important paperwork 
• Organize and preserve sentimental items and valuables 
• Separate and label meaningful memorabilia for family members

• Identify personal belongings, household items, paperwork, valuables, and memorabilia to keep
• Determine which family members will receive these items and prepare them for pickup
• Host a one-day estate sale to sell household items 
• Hire Junkluggers, an eco-friendly removal service, to clear out remaining items
• Home Phases retains 20% of total sale proceeds
